Wrap up meeting with World Bank Mission on Debt Management Performance Assessment
Earlier today, the National Treasury PS, Dr. Chris Kiptoo, CBS together with Senior Officials from the Directorate of Public Debt Management were appraised on the just concluded joint World Bank and Macroeconomic and Financial Management Institute of Eastern and Southern Africa (MEFMI) mission on Debt Management Performance Assessment to take stock of the public debt management practices in Kenya that took place from 18th to 26th March, 2025.
The meeting was informed that the assessment aimed to evaluate Kenya's public debt management practices, identifying strengths and areas for improvement to enhance alignment with international best practices.
