Stakeholders Engagement Meeting on the Ease of Doing Business in Kenya.

The National Treasury & Economic Planning CS Hon. FCPA John Mbadi attended a Stakeholders Engagement Meeting on the Ease of Doing Business in Kenya  convened by Prime Cabinet Secretary Hon Musalia W Mudavadi  at the PCS office.

CS  Mbadi reaffirmed the government’s recognition of the critical role the private sector plays in driving Kenya’s economic growth through revenue contribution and job creation.

He highlighted that under the Kenya Kwanza Administration's Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), measures are being implemented to create favourable conditions for the growth and sustainability of private enterprises.

The CS called for enhanced collaboration between the government and the private sector to unlock growth opportunities and reiterated the government’s commitment to strengthening Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) in sectors such as tourism, construction, education, and energy.

In attendance were CS for Environment  Hon. Aden Duale, CS for Mining Hon. Ali Hassan Joho,CS for Trade Hon.  Salim Mvurya, the Attorney General Dorcas Odour,Principal Secretaries including Planning PS James Muhati as well as representatives from KEPSA, KMA, KNCCI, the Kenya Flower Council, and the Kenya Leather Development Council.
