At the close of the World Bank/IMF Spring Meetings, Principal Secretary Dr. Chris Kiptoo met with Baroness Chapman, the UK’s Minister of State for Development and Africa, and the country’s Governor to the World Bank Group, during the ongoing 2025 IMF-World Bank Spring Meetings in Washington, D.C.

The PS presented Kenya’s green vision through the Africa Green Industrialization Initiative (AGII) and the  Nairobi Railway City project—making a strong case for deeper UK–Kenya climate-smart partnerships.
