Farewell luncheon in honour of Ms. Nnenna Nwabufo, the former Director General for East Africa at the African Development Bank.

The event celebrated her distinguished service and her recent appointment as Vice President for Regional Development, Integration, and Business Delivery at the AfDB.

The CS Mbadi commended Ms. Nwabufo’s leadership and her role in enhancing development partnerships between Kenya and the AfDB.

Dr. Kiptoo lauded Ms. Nwabufo's commitment to strengthening relationships with member countries, highlighting her collaborative approach to addressing the region’s socio-economic challenges.

Ms. Nwabufo expressed her gratitude for the support and collaboration she received during her tenure as Director General. She reaffirmed her commitment to advancing regional development in her new role as Vice President for Regional Development, Integration, and Business Delivery.

As Kenya continues to deepen its partnership with the African Development Bank, there is confidence that Ms. Nwabufo’s leadership in her new role will further advance economic transformation, regional integration, and the implementation of impactful development programs across the continent.
