High-level Panel discussions during the ongoing 2025 IMF-World Bank Spring Meetings in Washington, D.C.

Cabinet Secretary Hon.FCPA John Mbadi this evening featured as a panelist at a high-level panel discussion during the ongoing IMF–World Bank Spring Meetings, themed “Digital Pathways for Job Creation.” 
The event convened global leaders and experts to examine the important role of digital innovation in transforming employment strategies.

Hon. John Mbadi pointed out Kenya’s commitment to leveraging technology as a key driver of economic growth. He pointed out the country’s progress in expanding digital infrastructure, enhancing skills development, and promoting inclusive employment opportunities—particularly for youth and underserved communities.

He noted that by aligning digital advancement with policy and investment, Kenya is positioning itself as a regional leader in building a future-ready workforce.
