“Financial Sector Development in EAC: Overcoming Barriers”

The National Treasury PS,Dr.Chris Kiptoo, CBS participated in the High-Level EAC Event on “Financial Sector Development in EAC: Overcoming Barriers,”  organized by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and led by Mr. Abebe Aemro Selassie, Director of the African Department at the Fund during the 2025 World Bank/IMF Spring Meetings,in Washington, D.C.

The event featured a presentation by IMF staff, which set the stage for insightful discussions on strengthening and deepening financial sector development across the East African Community.
