CS Briefing on Preparations for the Nyanza International Investment Conference.

The National Treasury and Economic Planning Cabinet secretary Hon. FCPA John Mbadi this afternoon held a follow up meeting on the preparedness of the inaugural Nyanza International Investment Conference (NIIC), which seeks to promote economic growth and development in the Nyanza region of Kenya, scheduled for February 6th-8th, 2025 at the Ciala Resort in Kisumu City.

Themed ‘Nyanza Rising – Towards Economic Transformation for Socio-Economic Growth and Development,’ the conference aims to turn existing challenges into viable opportunities for private sector investment.

Preparations for the Nyanza International Investment Conference are in top gear as the region gears up to host local and international investors.

The Conference will be hosted by the Nyanza Professionals’ Forum (NPF), in collaboration with the six county governments of the former Nyanza Province (Homa Bay, Kisii, Kisumu, Migori, Nyamira, and Siaya), the National Government, relevant National Government Agencies like the Kenya Investment Authority, and local and national private sector corporations, including private sector associations and organizations (PSOs).

In attendance are Governor's from the lake region accompanied by the Nyanza Professionals.
