CS Hon. FCPA John Mbadi today met with Women Representatives and PS for Gender and Affirmative Action  Anne Wang'ombe to discuss funding strategies for combating the rising cases of gender-based violence (GBV) and femicide.

The CS reaffirmed the government's commitment to protecting women and girls, ensuring justice, and driving cultural change to support women.

The Women Representatives in attendance included Esther Passaris (Nairobi), Cynthia Muge (Nandi), Caroline Ngelechei (Elgeyo Marakwet), Donya (Kisii), Lilian Siyoi Walubengo (Trans Nzoia), Anne Wamuratha (Kiambu), Beatrice Kemei (Kericho), and Jane Kagiri (Laikipia), who is also the Chairperson of the 47 Women Representatives Caucus.
