The Official opening of the Nyanza International Investment Conference was graced by the Deputy President Kithure Kindiki on behalf of President H.E. William Samoei Ruto in Ciala Resort, Kisumu City County.

In attendance were CS Hon. John Mbadi , NIIC Patron and Deputy Chief of Staff Mr. Eliud Owalo, CS Education and NIIC Co-Patron Julius Ogamba; Attorney General Dorcas Oduor; PS Co-operatives Patrick Kilemi; PS Blue Economy Betty Njagi; PS Industry Dr. Juma Mukhwana; PS Agriculture Dr. Paul Kipronoh Rono; PS Special Programmes Joseph Motari and PS Trade Alfred K’Ombudo.

County Governors present were Prof. Anyang' Nyong'o (Kisumu) who is also chair LREB; Kenneth Lusaka (Bungoma and LREB Vice Chair); Gladys Wanga (Homa Bay); Wilberforce Otichillo (Vihiga) and Dr. Ochillo Ayacko (Migori).

Members of Parliament present were Dr. James Nyikal (Seme); Hon. Rozaah Buyu (Kisumu West); Nominated MP Irene Mayaka and Hon. Martin Owino (Ndhiwa)

Members of the Diplomatic Corps and and private sector leaders were also in attendance.
